And not those abominable "chocolate flavored" bunnies.
Also the Cadbury caramel eggs.

(302 posts)As I only enjoyed the plain(est) of milk chocolate treats and not at all the other gussied-up candies.

(24,906 posts)the chocolate rabbit being solid all the way through. First time I bit into a hollow one I felt like I was robbed. It was good to learn what being a consumer was going to be like, though.

(8,607 posts)I remember getting hyacinths at church. And hunting for eggs.
We had the baskets with the green stuff and wrapped chocolate eggs, jelly beans... maybe a rabbit? But the candy was never really a focus.

(62,688 posts)correctly, it was mostly food. We didn't any flowers on Easter. Hyacinths are a beautiful smelling flower.Thank you for sharing your memories. We can have the focus of Easter and still remember the treats in the basket.

(23,781 posts)egg things. If I were doing Easter stuff now, I would add Peeps to that hated list. They are cute as hell, but I do hate marshmallow.

(86 posts)I always hated Easter. But I did like the Reeses Peanut butter eggs and the malted milk eggs. Most of the rest of it just made me sick.
