We love our Aussie Shepherd, but that breed is a handful for aging bodies to handle. We're fine now, and Finley is 8, but when he passes the rainbow bridge, think it's time for a less hyper & smaller dog. 55 lbs of fur and bone hurtling full speed at me is ok now, I can move aside and deflect him, but I certainly wouldn't be taking on a young Aussie when I'm in my 80's.
