And so the dogs we had definitely bonded with him. Actually, his siblings, my aunt and two uncles were much the same, and now their kids are, too. And my grandmother, his mother, was our dog's most favorite person even though she didn't see her all that often. My mother's parents emigrated from Poland so my mother had never had pets - but she learned.
