yeah! i haz tenants.
so, i’m about to drop, doing some painting and the last nitpicks on a long running but great rehab on the 2nd flr of my 2flat. i have tenants cooling their heels as, of course, it’s taken longer than hoped.
it’s a lovely apt that i would have a tenant for in a week. the 1st flr, however, is a different story. the main drawback is that it’s 4br, w a tiny kitchen. been on the market for a while. i’ve been hoping for a bunch of young roomies and that’s what i got.
a kid that has done some work for me on my farm called me the other day about a farm thing. i asked him if he wanted some work. when i said cleaning out the last of the apt he said-some friends are thinking about getting a place.
hired him and another of the bunch for a bit today, and they liked it. just texted they’ll take it.
i cant tell you how relieved i am. this place has been a nightmare for the last 2 yrs. the rest of my life is almost forgotten at this point. it’s killing me to be inside painting when the garden is calling.
the kid is a grad of the urban ag program at loyola and eager to pitch in on the farm, as are the rest of the crew.
