(1,054 posts)We agree that a hot dog is a sandwich then...
What about a quesadilla?
A taco?
Isn't a pizza just an open-faced sandwich?
It goes on and on...what about lasagna?

(29,864 posts)On the menu were dick dog sandwiches, which included split, fried weenies and slices of hard boiled eggs. On slices of white bread. When in Rome, so they say. I didnt hate it, but Id never make such a thing on my own. Its meat (meat plus, actually) in bread, so its a sandwich AFAIC.
Regarding the sammich described above, conduct your search carefully

(29,864 posts)Dont recall seeing it, for that matter. I lived for a time in CT, but I didnt get to Boston all that often. I had lobster roll in Boston a couple years ago, but whirlwind tour and all, not much time to visit Boston.

(61,327 posts)pieces. You really need to go--especially Boston Market. The only thing I didn't like was the end of the plane runway at Logan is directly over the ocean.

Lobster roll!!
West of Mass, you can't get them, but Trader Joe's (THANK YOU JOE) offers a brioche version.

Now I can have hot dogs, tuna salad, and (if I could find decent lobster) lobster roll.
Anything else is just two starch planes.

(23,170 posts)I used to go by the Oscar Meyer plant and I did a brief computer project there. The computers smelled like hot dogs. Even in the office area, you couldn't get away from the smell.
