When I was a tank crewman in the Army, Boones is what we drank if we couldnt get Mad Dog. And B&J wine coolers were what we drank if we couldnt get Boones.
I cant believe I spent so much of the 90s drinking bad alcohol.
But, depending on who I woke up with the next morning, sometimes it was worth it.
The first time I got drunk was on Strawberry Boones Hill probably bought at a Seven Eleven by one high school friend who looked 30

In return we got a card table with 4 folding chairs. The nice folding chairs with the thick padded seat. 🙂. I still have 3 of them up in my attic and use them if Im having a lot of people over. I wonder whatever happened to the table and the 4th chair, come to think of it ..

Hell, I STILL have all that old Corning War. Cooks better than a lot of newer cookware. I hear it's worth a lot if it's in pristine condition.
Does anyone here remember the HANDLES that twisted onto the sides of the Corning Ware and locked down so you didn't need potholders ? Well, I STILL have two of those !!

...Extra Generic American Cheese?
At our house we hàd American cheese, but we also had back in the '60's when we had to got to a Greek Deli for
feta cheese. A staple for certain appetizers at holidays! Also had farmer's cheese as part of Ukrainian Easter foods waaay back
Soon we added cheddar, and munster. In the very early '70's my mom had a Cheese-of-the-Month Club. We got to try more. 👍
The cheese that took me the longest (late 50's?) was blue cheese (my mom loved gorgonzola). I started with Marie's Italian dressing, and finally tried their Blue Cheese one. Yum. 😁

I own it, and several others in the same series.

I made my dinner in it last night, and the last of the leftovers are still in it, sitting in the fridge as I type this.
My Corningware casserole dishes will have to be pried out of my cold, dead hands someday,, because I will never give them up any other way!

The ones I have were mostly harvested from the homes of deceased relatives, but I recently bought one in a size I didn't have from an eBay seller.
