A quiz for fans of Star Trek:

There have been 28 seasons of Star Trek in one form or another. Which *non-computer* character has appeared in more seasons than any other, and in how many did he/she/it appear?

(edited because I forgot about the computer)

Wasn't Majel Barrett somebody's wife? Roddenberry's? I seem to vaguely recall something along those lines, which would explain things.

Because the Enterprise's computer isn't the same character as the Voyager computer

He appeared at least once in each season of
TNG, Voyager and (I think) DS9.

He was in all 7 seasons of DS9, Worf was only in seasons 4-7. I'm assuming O'Brien was in all of TNG as well.

Chief Miles Edward O'Brien!

He appeared in every season of Star Trek TNG and DS9.

He is also the only character to appear in both the premier and finale of two series of Star Trek!

He's also one of my top 5 favorite all-time Trek characters, which is what made me think of this quiz in the first place

A toast to Chief O'Brien!

I met Colm Meaney at a convention in the early 90's. Got his autograph on a TNG trading card that I still have to this day. Nice guy. Loved him in The Commitments movie too.

I squealed with glee when I heard he was going to be a major character on the then-new DS9.

Well, not in a literal sense, but in a Fan sense
