Haven't had any side effects so far with the previous shots.

Now the shingles shot, that was a different matter...

That was the first place to offer the vaccine in my area (though I had to get my first two in another town), so I've stuck with CVS (and Moderna) since they have my records - and I have no complaints, quick and easy. I got my first Moderna Bivalent booster there a few weeks back and I'll get #2 when I'm due. Kudos to everyone who's keeping up!

that what the CDC said was that we 65+ who got the bivalent X months ago can get a 2nd SAME bivalent based on the drop over months to 70% protection.

He said that this VA clinic has not received any info from above that there is a new/different version, that yes a second dose of the SAME one can be had at the outside pharmacies, that 70% is still very good, that what he personally would do is to wait for the Fall.

*** I am NO/ZERO medical professional or authority and am only parroting what was told to me by somebody who supposedly is, am in no way suggesting to others.

For anyone who gets the booster today, a new booster in the fall will be around 6 months from now (October), when it would be time for a new booster anyway.

This time I went to my primary care office. I've had Moderna each time since the shots first came out, first at Rite Aid, then at Walgreens.

Much easier at my primary care office. On Tuesday, I just mentioned it in passing while on the phone with a nurse there and she made an appointment for me for today. They have all my medical info, so no long forms to fill out.

So far, this time the arm soreness is not as bad as with previous covid shots.
