baby was just outside the restroom when I came out. I looked around for Mom, who was standing in the trees some twenty feet away. I assured Mom that her baby was safe with me, and talked to the fawn softly. Then I took a bite from my apple, showed Mom, and handed it to the fawn. After a couple of bites, Mom came over, and I gave her butes if apple too. Afew more butes, and then they strolled back into the trees. No cellphone cameras in those days!
