My mom was a sports woman. Good at basketball in HS. Hit a two sewer drive in street baseball.

Could have gone pro in tennis, but didn't; she went on to dressmaker's school.

But she loved to watch it, and she cheered on The Williams sister's when they arrived on the scene.

She made me, her brother in NYC made his two kids (my cousins) go to tennis lessons in Central Park. 😄 I wasn't too good bc I didn't have that great arm strength. Great grip though.
Badminton was more my style. 👍
