But, I include the 90s in that.
I was a prog & glitter kid in HS & college, although I was a huge fan of Deep Purple & Black Sabbath.
Also, i had a thing for harmonies so bands like CSN or 3 Dog Night are still good to my ear.
In the 80s, I got into alternative (The Cure, Talking Heads, The Fixx...). I also dug a lot of hair metal.
Also, in the 80s & 90s I got way more into super guitar stuff. (As I got better on gu8tar, I wanted to hear the top line players to continue my progress. )
It's still what I listen to on the 5 stations that play rock around here.

Pink Floyd. Yes, Led Zeppelin. My taste vary, but I am more of the late sixties and seventies. I don't play any musical instruments but I admire the talents in all musicians'.
