THE MOBILE, ALABAMA MOON PIE HAS BEEN EVACUATED!

The gulf coast's answer to the New Year's Eve ball drop in Times Square.
THE MOON PIE DROP in Mobile, Alabama.
You'll be relieved to know that the Moon Pie sign has been safely removed to a "safe location".

There was a place in Tacoma Park called "Kiddie Land" that took RC caps as payment for ride coupons. This was some time ago, mind you. We also had a place called "Drink Me Pop" where you could fill a case of returnables with something like a million different flavors of soda. At least it seemed that way at the time.

But yeah, you can't eat a moon pie without a cold RC.
