Friday Night Vodka Buzz. Ask me anything.

But don’t expect an answer right away. I’m too damned tired from clinic. I excised the largest lipoma I’ve ever seen. Pretty touchy procedure, and I’m thrashed.

Two shots to get the party started. Than a John Collins. Bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and club soda.

I’m going to chill for a while.

I love you all…

I'm functioning. But my filing system looks like Trump's Potty Room. I can't, or won't, and don't face things quickly. I need to cut the crap and get down to business, but I feel the pain in everything new that requires attention.

How does one ......... get things done, get the motivation?

There's always more, but I too, pace myself Yesterday, I wanted to void a check, and found every check register from 2009 to the one in my checkbook, but not the one the check was in. I ended up sorting 5 boxes of papers, getting them condensed into 1 box. I didn't find the check register, but it felt good getting the boxes sorted, 7+ years of things I mostly don't need.

or noticed. If the check isn't cashed, it doesn't appear on the electronic register.

I've been trying to declutter for ages. I'm further along than I was, but only I can tell.

What do you do to have some relax time? Not knocking the aforementioned substances, I'm familiar with them also but when I need to get away I like to watch documentaries.

-oma either!

How does one remove such a thing? Insert a syringe and suck it out?

I'm guessing it brought relief to the patient in question. At least you know you're making lives better every day. Enjoy your imbibing, Aristus.

Largest I’ve ever excised. 5cm end to end, and about 4cm side to side. I made a longitudinal incision, and then dissected the connective tissue holding the thing in, squeezed the surface bulge, and it all popped out. Took me about forty-five minutes.

Had to pack the subcutaneous tissue instead of suturing it closed. I’ll have another look at it on Monday.

It's interesting how the U.S. clings to the Imperial system of measurements but you describe that lipoma in centimeters. I guess it's because it's more precise than about a "half inch."

not because of a directive from on high, but by osmosis; professionals using it on an everyday basis.

That’s so weird to me.

When I get drunk, I get sleepy, euphoric, and maybe a little affectionate.

I can’t understand someone wasting a good drunk getting violent and unpleasant…

Good night…

which I don't any more, I get relaxed, look at the person who is insulting me, if there is one and smile and think about my skill with the zweihander, pistol, bilbo and rifle. If there is no one insulting me, I scratch the cat, brush mu teeth and go to bed.

Aristus, scratch the cat, brush your teeth and go to bed.
