(26,115 posts)I love martinis, but not that way. Give me my favorite - Blue Moon.
I am not a drinker, probably have an average of 2 drinks a week - maybe 3-4 if we go out more than once - which is rare. My regular drink is Grey Goose and tonic with several orange slices. It's so refreshing and if I am counting calories, I can always use diet tonic. It's got to be Grey Goose, however. No subs allowed on that!

(29,889 posts)All of the martinis Ive consumed in my drinking life probably gives me an average of one every five years. Theyre quite good, when Ive had them, but Im seldom in the mood for it. Im more inclined to have gin & tonic.
If martinis are being made, the bartender better keep an eye on the bottle of olives when Im around

(72,528 posts)The whole 'dry martini' thing got out of hand for a while. First it was an ounce of dry vermouth, then half an ounce, and eventually it was just straight vodka or gin with no mixers. And that's fine. But don't call that a Martini.
