(11,780 posts)Last time I had an MRI it was so painful (very cramped and couldnt move) I had to stop them. This time it wasnt so cramped an I managed it pretty easily.

(11,780 posts)They said I had to get it from the Dr who ordered the MRI and hes in a different city. I decided Id just go ahead and if it was too painful Id just stop them but this time wasnt too bad. That was thurs and I got a call from my Drs office on Friday they wanted me to come in next week to see my doc. That has me a little concerned, I figured it would be a month or more before I got an appt. Makes me think they saw something bad.

(31,145 posts)to walk and actually drive the car by himself and go to physical therapy. He has been very very ill and has been in and out (mostly in) hospital for the past year. This is such a milestone and for the first time, I think he may get well.
So for me, it was a great day.

(16,834 posts)On Friday I called Chewy.org to cancel my monthly delivery because my oldest dog died and I'm down to one dog and one cat. Today, I got a flower bouquet delivered from Chewy with condolences. I was so touched.

(16,834 posts)Thanks for your condolences, debm55. I'm almost at the point where I can look at her photos again. I know it takes time. I still have one doggo and she helps, too.

(5,837 posts)I use Chewy and today I got a delivery and the driver was getting back into his van and he saw me trying to move the box. He ran back across the street and moved this huge heavy box into my entry hall. So grateful for his doing this.
I have always thought well of Chewy, and the flowers they sent for condolences? What a wonderful and thoughtful gesture. I am so glad they did that for you!

(16,834 posts)I told my son about it and he said Chewy had a reputation for doing stuff like that.
I will always order from them when I need something.

(5,837 posts)My friends and neighbors all use Chewy. I have used them for about 6 years and am very satisfied. I did not know until you posted today about the condolence flowers. I will keep using them for all my pet needs. Any company that cares is a rarity and I am happy to patronize them.

(11,279 posts)I've been slowly decluttering items in my home, especially paperwork that's obsolete.
We have an Italian Market in my area that's extremely popular. I keep popping in every Thursday and to purchase a medium-sized container of their deli vinegar coleslaw. I'm addicted to the stuff.
I made a fresh large batch of hummingbird food and stored the leftover's in the frig.
I didn't spend an obscene amount of money on an unsafe adventure.
I felt productive last week.

I was just nervous because this body shop was new to me. The other one I have always dealt with went out of business, and these people took over their building. They had excellent reviews and they were not a new business, they just moved to this larger building.
A nice touch that I didn't expect was when I picked the car up it was completely detailed inside and out. That would have easily cost up to $200. They even had an arrangement with the rental car company that allowed me to just leave my rental at their shop, and the rental place came and got it.

(1,216 posts)but this week I was finally able to breathe clean (no fires) air and take 3 3-4 mile hikes in the Minnesota northwoods. I've only recently heard of the term "forest bathing" but it has been my go-to for many years.
