4. I use background sound every night

I mix it up, using Spotify and YouTube. White noise, rain on car/roof/forest, etc. That and a sleep mask ensure a good night's rest.

I used to think it was silly but I find I miss it when we're somewhere else. When we were in Sanibel years ago we left the porch screens open so we could hear the real thing all night.

8. I have. The thunder one was a bit unnerving and I didn't care for the sound of incessant rain.

The ocean had a rhythm I liked, sort of like breathing in and out. Relaxing.
