I know this is hard but what are your top three albums? They can be any group or genre. New or old. (Original Post) debm55 Jun 2023 OP

It almost felt like a jam band the way they stretched out the newer material - unfortunately the early Attractions stuff sounded like it was going to fall apart. Man Out of Time and Almost Blue sounded great though.

The others were
Attractions in 94
Imposters in 02
Solo acoustic in 10

This was actually the weakest show of his I've seen, but that's not really as much of an insult - the other shows were that good. The 02 show was my favorite, it was mostly Imperial Bedroom, Blood and Chocolate, King of America and When I Was Cruel material. And a heavenly version of Shipbuilding.

Nick Lowe and Los Straightjackets were a treat as well. I'd never seen Nick before.

A couple of old favorite LPs are Turandot with Sutherland and Pavarotti and Boris Godunov with Martti Talvela, and I'm constantly playing a recent CD of Italian Renaissance lute music because it's so relaxing. I don't like much popular music with the exception of some old Rolling Stones albums.

Gotta have my Bruce Cockburn, but I alternate between "Humans" and "Dart to the Heart." Maybe "Dancing in the Dragon's Jaws"?

Peter Gabriel "So"

Rickie Lee Jones first album

Check back in a week, and I'll probably have three totally different ones.
