50 Times Ginger Cats Proved Just How Hilariously Unpredictable They Really Are

And if you wonder about all the references to the brain cell, it's because of the belief that all orange cats share one communal brain cell. See this subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/OneOrangeBraincell/ .

learned about it only recently. Though it had seemed to me, for years before that discovery, that there were an awful lot of orange cats showing up in photos and video of cats being weird.

Love orange kitties... Miss mine so much.

That's the longest I've ever had a pet. I bawled like a baby when I had to have him put down, but the veterinarian said I chose the right time. He had cancer in his jaw, and the veterinarian had told me a couple years earlier that she couldn't get it all without removing his entire jaw, and that I would know when the time came for a certain melancholy duty. And she was right, I did know. I guess I really loved the little guy.

orange-marmalade-and-white tabby to cancer (different type) a couple of winters ago. He was only 12 years old. I have lost a cat to cancer of the jaw, though, a black and brown tabby I lost 15 years earlier, when she was only 13. She had only weeks after I noticed the lump on her jaw and took her to the vet and got the terrible diagnosis. But with painkiller, they seemed to be happy weeks for her, playing and rolling around in the sunshine, and cuddling with me and my other kitty, who was like a sister to her for all those years, though they'd been unrelated feral kittens, rescued a month apart.

I lost her sister a few years later, but I believe they were reunited. We all have reunions to look forward to.

and during those years had only occasional use of the braincell. He liked to kill and eat balloons, which made his litter box colorful; he loved corn husks, and he'd tear holes in bread bags to gnaw on the crusts. A strange but lovable character he was.
