I went to the post office to buy stamps

I was kidding around with the clerk and asked for a sheet of the ugliest stamps she had. She put a sheet of 20 stamps in an envelope and I paid without looking at them.

When I got home, I discovered they were Nancy Reagan stamps!

I guess I got exactly what I asked for.

Some are aesthetic. That's not what applies here. Yet, I would say that they were an attractive couple, in a Hollywood sort-of way.

60. Damn - I just looked up the stamp. It really is ugly. She was ugly inside, not bad outside,

but the stamp is a terrible likeness.

Or maybe it's a really good likeness - it's all plastic-like, sort of artificial, very much the worst of LA/Hollywood pretend/fake, doesn't quite look human, and kind of sloppy.

If I were in the Reagan family, and assuming I was one of the family members who actually respected her, I'd be upset at whoever painted that thing.
