I just bought tickets online to see Oppenheimer this weekend.

I haven't been in a movie theater in 5 years, at least. I hate movie theaters. But I really want to see this movie. I have been to Los Alamos, I read the book it is based on, and I have always had some odd interest in the whole topic.

It looks like this movie is going to make a lot of money. If it doesn't, I'll be surprised. A lot of seats are already sold.

Hollywood has a history of ruining good stories. I hope I'm not disappointed.

with movies based on true stories or life stories. They always seem to have a fair amount of fictional material added. One movie I liked was "The Two Popes," which I thought was well done and well acted, but mostly fiction.

Of course, one can argue that if we want truth, we should watch documentaries.

The people making movies often think they need to change things up to make a movie exciting.

Oppenheimer’s life, both his professional life and his personal life, was so full of drama that it is hard to see a need for any amount of fiction.
