Lets make a time capsule. Each of you will be given a box the size of a Klennex box, you may fill

completely or not. Don't forget vital information about yourself. Box will be open in 100 years. What are items you would like to put inside? They can be new or old.

1. Dead batteries

You can't put them in the trash or recycling bin, and the nearest place I can get rid of them is about ten miles away. But, I'm constantly forgetting to take them, and I have a box about that size that's full of dead batteries.

If someone wants to take that off my hands, great. A hundred years from now, someone else can worry about what to do with it, since I'll be long gone.

I've switched to mostly rechargeable, else the box would be casket sized.

It’ll still be “edible”, but they’ll be smart enough not to eat it. I hope!

Everything anyone would want to know about me (which isn't much) is on the phone. A fruitcake would easily last 100 years.

water, ice tea, etc. Walking Dolly last night, I saw recyclying bins filled with them. However, there was a water main break, no notice and no water buffaloes. Water out of the faucet was black. I was pissed as I would have filled the tub and the water jugs for drinking. Had no choice but to buy 2 days worth. I put that on the Boro and water company.

...with a little note saying, he got everything right. If anyone is still around in 100 years, he--and I--will be astonished...
