What is your favorite Motown, Soul, R&B. song? Kicked for BOSSHOG

Last edited Wed Aug 30, 2023, 10:55 PM - Edit history (10)

I love others by the Temps, and Supreme, etc. But Stevie's song Superstition still gets me dancing at 68 years of age. Should have included Soul and R & B from the beginning and post all the videos you want. I am so enjoying this thread. . Thank you everyone. Love, Debbie Can someone post Superstition by Stevie Wonder from YouTube? DU friends-Dance like no one is watching.

There is no and's, if's or but's about it. The song itself doesn't matter, if Smokey is singing it (Miracles and all); I'm feeling it.

(finally to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame 2023)

The R&B vocal group — best known for its 1970s Atlantic Records hits such as “I’ll Be Around,” “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love,” “The Rubberband Man,” “Then Came You” with Dionne Warwick — was nominated in the performer category in 2012, 2015 and 2016 without getting the nod. This year it did, however, and will be one of seven performer acts inducted at the 38th annual ceremony on Nov. 3 in Brooklyn.

I was 8 when that came out and my group went to the 5 and 10 store and bought plastic harmonicas. We
pretended to be playing with Stevie. You know I always talk about my Red Jeep Liberty I gave to my cousin. The only thing that bugs me about giving it away that my Stevie Wonder disc was stuck in the player and I could not get it out. It was a Best of collection. Played Part Time Lover and Mi Charie Amour to death.
