https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/19/famous-meme-dog-cheems-dead-12-viral-twitter-leukemia-pup-balltze/Cheems, one of the most famous dogs on the internet, is dead after a battle with cancer.
The viral meme dog died Friday during a surgical procedure ... according to his owners, who say he fell asleep during surgery and never woke up.
Cheems shot to fame way back in 2017 when an awkward photo of him went viral ... sparking a meme that is still shared to this day.
Also known as Pup Balltze or just Balltze, the shiba inu was famous for his love of cheeseburgers ... and he's got his own meme character, Cheemsburger.

(22,597 posts)Just copy and paste the url (web address) of the picture into your post. Make sure it begins with https:// and ends with .jpg or .png. I can't say whether other image formats would work, but .jpg and .png definitely do work.
The url of the image above is https:/ /s.hdnux.com/ photos/01/16/07/61/20479087/16/2300x0.jpg (without the spaces).
A lot of times there's gobbledygook added on after the .jpg that begins with a question mark, and that tag can usually be cut out. For example, a url of "https:// somewebsite.com/ coolpicture.jpg?364782&img_fmt=length1920&width1080&otherstuff" (without the spaces) can usually be trimmed down to "https:/ /somewebsite.com/ coolpicture.jpg" (without the spaces) when you post it on DU.
