(35,176 posts)2. The second crush of my life.
I got to see he and Dale and Trigger and Buttermilk at our State Fair. They put on a concert. I had to be about 4 or 5. I can still picture it. My grandma took me to see all the livestock and I got to meet one of the other important figures of my young life, Walter Brennen, Grandpa in the Real McCoys. I was in seventh heaven but never could figure out how these people got so big and then got so small to be in our TV.
Thanks for this nice little flash of my past. I think it was mostly the horses I loved but...he was still "the deal" to me and much better than my first crush, Alfalfa (LOL).
