3. The glory of watching CFL football.

4. Everything about Canadian sports makes me think we're doing everything wrong down here.

Canadian football, candle-pin bowling, etc. They evoke emotions of simple enjoyment, entertainment, community, relaxation.

In the U.S., everything is bloodsport. Do-or-die. Ultimate survival. Crush your opponent.

I hate it here.

I want to move to Canada.

5. Growing up in So. Maine...we were all about candle pins...

no commie inspired duck pins in my youthful reality!

6. I discovered candle pin bowling when my Army unit was on maneuvers in Alberta.

This was thirty years ago. Off duty, I explored the Canadian Army camp where we were stationed. They had a candle pin bowling alley. And I thought candle pin bowling was the coolest, most laid-back thing ever.

8. Truth be told, I couldn't handle the big balls with those 3 holes.
