In the past 3 days, I've been to two big-box stores, and a "Big Lots."

Aisle after aisle is full of Christmas stuff.

It's just getting absolutely absurd.

I know it's been bad for decades now, but come on!
It's the middle of September!

Box stores put their Christmas Trees up in August. Been doing that for years.

Used to annoy me. Now I online shop. Know the brands that are true, easy.

Have a permanent Christmas department as with housewares, toys, electronics, etc. It would save them the bother of having to set up new displays every year in August.

The Christmas section was already up ‘n’ running. Christmas stuff. Already. And Halloween is still more than a month away.

If people only buy it in December, stores would only put it out in December.

10. I can't believe people buy winter clothes in August in Texas. (WalMart)

I think WalMart does this nation-wide without thinking about local demand.

Haven't had TV for 5 years, but gosh, I think it's time for the Campbell's Soup commercial ad nauseum. I hate those. It's 95 degrees and we had to deal with soup commercials. Made me want to whirl a brick at my TV.

When you do not have it? Just kidding.

Oh, I would love to be an Oscar Meyer wiener! The car was actually in a Meijer parking lot last week!

There have been quite a few of those here (Georgia) in the past week or so.

It known that it's not everybody's holiday, including me. And especially at the early displays.

It's a prime example of when capitalism takes over religion.

I went into a Kohl's store Friday to see about getting a new winter coat and the lady told me " It's still a little to early to have out winter coats " Yet the aisles were full of thanksgiving and Christmas decorations.
