Gulp I need to make a confession and ask for your help

I cant figure out twitter to save my soul!!!!

I want to learn but I am completely confused. Does anyone know where there is a website or something for illiterate 5 year olds that teaches about twitter so maybe I can get in to it? I want to, it looks like fun but it is beyond me right now!!! I feel soooooo oooolllldddd!!! I am so afraid I will be needing to ask my kids to set the clock on things and be talking about "taping" things on the DVR!!!!!

I never did figure it out except that it seems like a shortened version of text messaging and you can "follow" people to see what gems of wisdom they're sharing with the world.

Once I figured that out, I decided I didn't care.

It's hard enough following text messaging between my family members.

Anyway, you're definitely not the only one who can't quite get it.

I've never used it and won't. The whole "twit" thing disturbs me, but seriously, 140 character limit and a complete degradation of the English language in one system? I take it as a symptom, not a cause. Still, I won't support it in any way.
