This is effin' nuts!
This video has gone viral & cops are looking for him.
He did a speed run on a motorcycle from Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 FRICKIN' MINUTES up I-25 daytime in traffic! He reached speeds up to nearly 200mph! I couldn't watch all over it, my anxiety was too much watching him cut between cars & slicing in between them at almost 200mph.
Nobody knows who this guy is but he has to be a professional motorcycle racer.
This is insane stuff!

(25,126 posts)He ignores the effect his recklessness could have on other drivers.
Inexcusable.

(9,072 posts)It looks like he's wearing a t-shirt and regular shoes instead of any kind of racing gear. Just out for a Sunday drive!
what does possessing *THE* most delicate body part have to do with anything?

(9,072 posts)Right or wrong, it is what it is.
it's "what it is" when people STILL promote sexist garbage

(9,072 posts)That doesn't really have the same pizzazz, does it?
I'm afraid Hemingway was right, having balls is much more expressive.
And on top of all that, "lady balls" is a thing now.

(4,476 posts)Theres nothing courageous about needlessly endangering the lives of every single person on one of the busiest stretches of highway in the inter-mountain west.
Irresponsible works.
Selfish applies.
Deplorable is certainly apt.
Courageous? No, huh-uh.

(114,683 posts)I know how damned congested it is. That there was no construction on his entire route shocks me as the Northern Front Range from WY Border south to Denver has been nothing but all summer.
This made me absolutely nauseous as I've had aggressive (car) drivers be almost as reckless. I hope to hell they catch this ass. The video should be taken down so as to avoid "copycats."

(70,730 posts)Yeah, thats a professional. Taking his hands off the handlebars to check his phone? A totally professional move.
That bike will show up in his other videos.
In another video, you can clearly see hes on a Kawasaki Ninja with a Rileys Powersports logo on top of the tank.

(17,757 posts)If so, he is recklessly endangering other people's lives. He needs that bike shoved,-- --- ---,sideways.
His will be a self correcting problem, lets just hope that it is a against a bridge piling or a tree rather than a families car. There are too many variables that are not under his control to sustain that kind of riding.

(17,757 posts)Have you ever seen the damage a 100 pound deer can to to a car driving 70 MPH? That is not counting the damage from the reaction of the driver, if he or she survives. Think in terms of the idiot kids dropping rocks off an overpass, killing drivers.

(9,072 posts)That said, I've never heard of a motorcyclist killing the driver of a car in a crash. That said, it doesn't make it right.
Everybody who goes out on the highway puts others at risk of a collision. For most, the risk is low, and we brush it off. For some, it's high. This guy is medium. I see closer calls on my commute every week it seems, this guy has serious skills.

You just have to watch out for those big honkin' mirrors that trucks have nowadays.

I get nervous doing 20MPH on my scooter.
Frankly, I hope the cops get him.

(3,307 posts)..with the post is not the person who posted it, but I have to ask the logical question>
There are NO police officers on that stretch of highway and (apparently) nobody called the police, in order to
perhaps? stop traffic and catch this dangerous person? There ARE police helicopters.
I certainly could have missed something here...

(11,189 posts)How many cars swerved reactively and potentially had an accident due to his passing them on the left and right shoulders, splitting at 160+, etc etc. ? Id bet a rear camera would show what his wake causes.
I have driven that road too many times to count, before the HOA lane northbound past AF Academy, and now(after). It is a mess with trash on the shoulders. Hes lucky.
And he mentioned a lot of traffic, that was super light south of Monument and from Castle Rock up to County Line, where he called it.
He should go up to Montana and ride from Billings to South Dakota. Not in heavily trafficked areas where I and my kids drive. Again, hes a dick.

(5,335 posts)Hes lucky hes not dead.
However, there is a long history of this kind of thing. The record time for driving across the US from NYC to Redondo Beach, CA is 25 hours and 39 minutes which works out to an average speed of 110 mph! That was set in 2021.

(9,072 posts)That's a public highway as well. Those speed runs are actually more dangerous than this in my opinion (actually banking and turning is required), although this is risky as hell.
I'm the outlier here but I see value to what he's doing. Anybody who is frustrated by congestion on the highways and/or fearful of speed can vicariously feel a rush and sense of freedom watching this jackass' videos while they toil away in the office.

The cops thought I had some kind of death wish whenever they caught me doing shit like this. I didn't get caught that time.
I never felt suicidal or anything. Looking back, from what I know now, it mostly happened when my major depressive disorder was spiraling out of control and I needed to feel something. Usually I just ran and ran and ran but sometimes I did more dangerous stuff.
As my commentary on this dangerous idiot, if anyone has ever called my wife a "Latina girl" (see post 32 above) she's never told me how she disposed of the body parts.
