I had MANY opportunities, without purposefully doing a damn thing except being myself. Under 18 I said no, not because I felt morally obligated, but because I didn't want to get in legal trouble. If it was legal, I've have been like ... I will show you best time ever, m'lady. And I would NOT have felt bad, just because I'm a bit older, not if I'm honest, not if I'm kind and generous and loving. SORRY!

True story, on my 30th birthday I went to a Matchbox 20 concert with my boys and an 18 year old girl in the row behind me drug me back to her row to dance with her, and at the end literally asked me to take her home. When we got there I asked for nothing, I serviced her, and drove her home after like a gentleman. Without lying, without coercion, or any crazy shit like that. I showed her a good time, and got nothing in return except knowing she had fun.

asset to DU in all the years he was here. Really miss him in Music Appreciation, and he helped me and probably others with computer questions.

hopes he will be allowed to return.

I do, too. As I said in another reply here, I would like to see DU return to FFRs being only temporary, as they once were, with the FFR period ending once the oldest of the 5 hides is more than 90 days old and no longer counts toward the FFR penalty. Multiple FFRs within 6 months or a year might warrant permanent suspension. But one FFR, especially for a longtime member who's contributed a lot and has a lot of friends here, seems like something that shouldn't result in permanent suspension. Especially when it didn't result in permanent suspension in the past.

So I hope Hugh_Lebowski will be back on DU soon.

He attended SOS Adrian Fontes's birthday fundraiser with me. He's a solid Democrat and Liberal, very supportive of LGBTQIA+ and women's rights, and an all around good dude. I hope he's allowed back on. I know he misses you all.
