Does anyone think that NFL players are having fun when they get the snot beat out of them?

I mean, I heard a college player last week talking about how much fun it was when they were in a brute, physical battle. He said it was like being kids again in the back yard....

Just wonder if there's any of those same feelings when the players get to the pro level....

I’m sure some wouldn’t go on to pros if someone forked over a few million bucks. But most would still go.

Smashing into others, giving shots, taking shots, and howling at the moon while walking back to the car.

Yeah. It’s definitely a thing.

But I would think with the money some of them make, they'd like to still be able to do it next year, too.

But one thing to consider about sports, games and money. Before the first ticket was ever sold, before the first player got paid, men got together somewhere on a field and played the game. The game was first.

hell yes. I always get a chuckle out of how we try (or wish) to protect the physical health of our adorned multi millionaire football players, yet turn a blind eye to some of the most barbaric sports imaginable. The entire purpose of boxing and or cage fighting is to kick the living shit out of your opponents, while their industry does basically nothing to keep their brains from turning into scrambled eggs.
