The 'Florida Man Games' 2024 Will Include an 'Evading Arrest' Obstacle Course and 'Mud Duel'

The Florida Man Games, a tongue-in-cheek celebration of the meme surrounding wild news stories about the antics of guys from that state—frequently while inebriated—will be held next year to determine the most Florida Man of all Florida Men.
Described as "the most insane athletic showdown on Earth," in the inaugural Florida Man Games competition will include beer belly wrestling, a mud duel where contestants will grapple in a tub of wet slop, and an "evading arrest" obstacle course where guys will run through back yards and leap over fences while being pursued by real law enforcement officers.
Other attractions on the day will include the opportunity for attendees to get their picture taken with a real alligator (frequently the co-star in Florida Man stories), a best mullet contest, a "Florida Ma'am" event, and the day will culminate in a "911 Fight Night, Brawl of the Badges" boxing match between Floridian police officers and firefighters.
The Florida Man Games will be held in St. Augustine, Florida on February 24, 2024.
