Mid-Century pizza is better than mid-Century colonial furniture. Before there were chocolate, pineapple, white, TexMex pies. But they don't make the ingredients the way the imported ones were back then. Parmagiana Reggiano was only amalgamated about 1955. Scamorza still isn't available. Still you can try the good stuff and bake it properly.

I judge all pizza by the simple dough, sauce (gravy) and motz🍕 Nothing like a couple of slices and a beer🍺.
Not a fan of pineapple. Chicago is ok but to me it's like a tomato pie. Good but does not hit the mark for me 🤌Flame suit on...

My favorites: sicilian, white (with fresh chopped garlic - previous neighborhood), w ground sausage, thin sliced onions.

NEVER more than 2 toppings!

I don't remember where I heard that the first time, but I have found that they are words to live by.

I don't care what you put on it, even pineapple, to each their own. But please, respect the pie, don't smother it with a bunch of different items.

Just say NO!
