It was quite different than the other two I have been to.

I felt like I was in the middle of a high-end boutique clothing store in Manhattan with a personal consultant.

Extremely large room with high ceilings. Extremely clean. Soft lighting.

I was checking out the workmanship on the display cases...very high end and not cheap.

$400 bongs.

Weed in little glass cubes for display.

It felt like Hugh Hefner, in a silk bathrobe and smoking a pipe, was going to walk out of the back room and shake my hand.

Edit to add: Every single customer in there was older, like me. No younger people.

I know how to make my own edibles, but I can't be bothered, so I just buy them.

4. Making your own edibles is easy.

You simply make a batch of Hash butter and use it for any recipe that calls for butter.
For example, store-bought cookie or brownie mixes call for butter (Betty Crocker, Pillsbury etc.)
You simply use a small frying pan, put the burner on Low, add whatever amount of unsalted butter you wish. (It has to be unsalted)
Then add the herb, it doesn't even have to be high quality herb, any herb will do, even "shake".
Be very careful not to burn the butter, it has to be heated very slowly on a very low setting.
After the herb & butter melt together in the saucepan, turn off the burner,
At this point you can pour the melted green butter through a strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl.
Then, you simply add the green butter to whatever you're going to bake,... cookies, brownies, etc.
An endless variety of edibles can also be made this way, including candy, sweet rolls, banana bread etc.

is running a PIZZA &a JOINT promotion. You get a coupon for money off at the pizza place when you buy certain things. And you can buy swag. I think it’s great marketing!

High Times - winning pot butter recipe

Half oz weed or shake
8 oz butter

Decarb ground up weed for an hr at 240 degrees in oven , let cool for 10 minutes & spray with a teaspoon of Everclear.

Melt butter in crockpot - turn down to low and add decarbed weed and let simmer for about 6 hrs - stirring occasionally. Strain thru cheesecloth & use within 2 weeks or freeze.

I make the best marijuana cookies with all organic ingredients.
