If prunes are dried plums, where do they get prune juice from???

In college, one of my roommates loved to drink screwdrivers on the weekends. Once, when we were out of orange juice, he used prune juice to mix with his vodka. The juice had the usual effect on his digestive system so he declared the drink a Piledriver.
