Rarely go to chain fast food places, prices are outrageous and quality has suffered immensely

Favorite burger is Five Guys if we are doing chains

However locally we have 3 long standing excellent single owner burger joints:
Tommy's (owned by Staunch Democrats!)
Charley's amazing fries and onion rings. Burgers are very good
Kincaid's started out in a grocery store. That building became the burger place many years ago. Now there are 4 locations, I think

All good. All fresh. All family operated.

Eating it in the backseat of my Suburban as my wife speeds down the expressway at about 70-80 mph.

Don’t do fast food anymore.

Do not consider pizza ‘fast’ food when it take 40-50 minutes to receive it.

What really turned me off was the last Whopper I ever had. Couldn’t get the smell off my hands for an hour at least. Ate on the road with nothing but wet wipes to clean up with. Figured something had to be added to it for that smell to linger for that long. Plenty of times I’ve eaten prepared food at home with my fingers, no utensils, and never had the smell last like that.
