One of the late night discussions we used to have in boot camp -and later - was "What the hell were Sid and Marty Kroft taking and where could someone get a hold of it?"
My suspicion was that they had taken part in the Army's "Use LSD to treat PTSD" experiments in the 1950's, because my uncle took part in them as a Corpsman and he could never leave his own reality afterwards. It was an interesting and rather pleasant reality at times, but it wasn't the same time and space reality his body was stuck in.
