Just saw "Hidden Figures" again, for the 3rd time. I had forgotten how harrowing that scene of the astronaut going

through reintry with the heat shield was! But Katharine knew her shield would protect him. Good thing he was so brave and trusted her.
Was that John Glenn? (Memory issues with age, here). At the time, these black women scientists had to fight like hell to, first, get equal opportunity in their colleges and then to be trusted on their jobs.

These women have been and still are my HEROES.

Called it a “feel good” movie. It was important, well-written, well-acted, etc.

Kevin Costner's role was difficult, IMO. He shouldn't be seen as the "hero" of the movie, yet he did change and he did stick up for those women when he had learned his own lesson about underestimating his female black scientists...
