I like to post foto's like this because I get so frustrated with the picture the r/w noise machine paints of SF. I'm here to tell ya, as a long time resident, they are full of it. This place is gorgeous, the weather is unbelievable, the people are friendly, and the energy is through the freaking roof. The tourists are back as well, and with all the choices they have, they voted w/their feet.

It's the corner of the street I live on looking towards Market St. It's very colorful.

That yellow brick for the sidewalk would have completed the look they were going for. IMHO.

My son and his gf visited there this summer, well he had a business trip and she joined him and they had a wonderful time. (We’re from Ohio). Hubs and I were there many years ago. I would love to go back again. I, too, get so sick and tired of the right wing scare machine and their blabbering. All big cities have their problems and I certainly don’t hear any ideas or solutions coming from their side.
