Quiet and serene going a whopping 40 mph. No noisy engine up front
Not too many glider ports in Florida and if you get a chance go for it.

A friend had the Bristol 34. We sailed from NYC’s City Island to Nantucket and back. It sailed aggressively but was very comfortable.

This review of the Dana 24 was one reason I wanted this boat.

If you scroll down, there are drawings of the floor-plan. You’ll see how it’s designed for two in amazing comfort for a 24-footer. 6’2” headroom and the enclosed head with a shower help make this a live-aboard. Last year, we spent ten months sailing from New York to the Florida Keys and back. Rarely were we cramped! It was the adventure of a lifetime. Here’s a post I wrote:

I didn't stray to far from home in mine...it wasn't in the best of shape when I bought it and we usually sailed within sight of land.

I have been in some accidents, but no wreck yet.

Two DUers posted recently that their cars were wrecked. Got the name wrong :/

Your car is newer than mine. I got a roof, hoping the car holds out awhile longer

I have several hobbies and collections that I have fun with, so there are a lot of things that would be fun to get, none of them cost over a hundred bucks or so. I could give myself an old rusty WWII PAL RH-36 knife to restore and I would be as happy as a pig in poop. ($40.00 range)

Where Christmas is no big deal.
Very festive, but Easter bigger here.

We have downsized tremendously. No gifts necessary.

WHAT AM I THINKING…??

We are receiving a greater gift than most people receive.

A benefactor is building us a two bedroom home to live in rent free.
