Either „orange red“ from southeastern France in mid-June or from the Wachau Valley in Austria in September.

They are challenging and I believe more stimulating to the brain. I have about a 90% success rate with them. I do about 5 crosswords to every one soduko.

And I also have too many, and can't resist getting more it seems. Been ordering quite a few from Etsy lately. I have 2 bay windows filled (actually...all our windows), and Mr. Bayard recently installed grow lights for me. Everybody is looking very happy. I just discovered I even have a spider plant that is blooming.

I'm just generally an addict, I guess....my big summer flower garden, my animals, riding my horse, and reading. Oh--and DU!

Outside, weather permitting, or I got a trail in the basement accompanied either by NPR. (WWNO NOLA) or rock and roll from the 60s and 70s.

And at least 200 crunchies a week.

I have always had a healthy lifestyle and eat everything healthy. A few years ago I came across Ghee butter... in my coffee ☕. Smooth too. Sometimes I also spoon into my morning oatmeal.

Exercising/squatting/walking/hiking: I have a sacroiliac joint issue and to keep myself mobile and from keeping the SI Joint from flaring up. I work out on a regular basis.

Music: I regularly listen to music while I'm working out. Sometimes I listen to music while I'm not working out.

Experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. I'm gluten-free and I'm on Keto. Sometimes I need to switch things up when it comes to food and desserts.

Reading. I like to read when I have the time to do so.

Gardening. I seem to be able to keep Ivy Geraniums alive and flourishing. It's the only type of flower/plant that enjoys my company. I currently have two Ivy Geraniums in my kitchen
and they're still green and have blooms. *Knock on wood* they keep on flourishing for summer of 2024.

Solitaire. I always keep a deck of cards in the house and I play solitaire frequently.

I have several battery operated candles throughout the house. They turn on and off at set times. I don't need anymore but I keep buying them.

Hanging out on DU. Especially the lounge where it's generally cool, calm and collect.

Hugs. I'm a hugger. I like hugs.

I play every day while I walk my dogs; it keeps track and I average 4 kilometers a day. I've met lots of lovely people, young and old, and have explored many new places. And it's free! Or can be, I spend about $10 a month on Pokecoins to buy cute outfits for my avatar.

Dec 2023

I don't exercise, I eat what I like, and I stay the hell away from doctors. I am more afraid of living too long, than not living long enough. Unfortunately, my family, on both sides, has the tendency to live to very old ages. (My Grandmother lived to 104, and was still at home and healthy, physically and mentally, before the week that she died) My Grandfather was born during the Civil War...His Grandfather lived to be 100, and the wife to 99. It is a curse.
