He’s been here a couple times. Sometimes with a big red guy.

He’s very plump. Most cattle are bony until they go to market.

Our neighbor opened his door and the bull was standing right there like he wanted to come in.

Dogs especially rule. They wander everywhere. When we needed fingerprinting for our residency applications there were dogs just lying there sleeping in the entrance of the police station. People just stepped over them.

You can take your dog to restaurants.

For all the dogs around I’ve never seen any aggression from them or towards each other.

Would you say life is much more laid back and tolerant in Costa Rica? Sometimes here I get so tired of people getting uptight over so many things. Especially during Christmas. I avoid crowded stores and retail areas like the plague right now.

Way less government in your everyday life.

Very difficult to get guns

Almost impossible to sue anyone. (that is a wonderful thing).

Yet restrictions can be even harsher than US. Not only did we HAVE to wear masks, we at times during COVID we were only allowed to drive every other day. If you had to work or go to Doctor you need a letter from your employer or doctor. Can you imagine that in US?

Also drivers don’t just get citations. They can take away your plates. And they can be hard to get back.

But over all far less aggression from assholes.

Finally, Christmas isn’t as big a thing here. Walmart has very few decorations everything is plastic.

Easter is the big Holiday here.

I am no expert but my pot comes from Columbia. I know it’s grown here and they will probably legalize for medical use.
