Please help settle this debate regarding candy corn.

What holiday is candy corn more appropriate? I say Thanksgiving, citing the fact that it's corn shaped. My daughter says Halloween, citing when it arrives in stores, and its usefulness as faux vampire teeth. What say you, DU?

1. I don't know which is worse, actually

candy corn or circus peanuts.

With all the delicious candy around, I don't know why either of those two things is bought by anyone.

Candy corn is also gross. I'm not saying I eat candy corn, I'm just saying it's a Thanksgiving candy.
