"Heartbeat" made it to #5 Billboard Hot 100 chart. Problem was, Johnson couldn't tour his album and be a television star at the same time. He found out that he himself personally couldn't divorce Miami Vice to pursue singing. He's a talented singer.
I had "Heartbeat" and whatever the other song was on the back of a vinyl 45.
Man, I feel old.
