(71,535 posts)I've had three unrelated people, at three different times in my life, compare me to Jon Favreau. The first time was when "Friends" was on the air, and Favreau played Monica's boyfriend who wanted to be an MMA fighter.
I guess the resemblance has grown since then; we both went bald, and grew a goatee. Twice since, people have said I look like him.
I'd rather be compared favorably with Brad Pitt, but we don't get to choose these things...

(52,863 posts)Were going to have to take a Women of The Aviator approach to this one.
When they cast Howard Hughes women in that show they didnt go out and look for people who looked just like the actresses they were playing, and they didnt spend four hours gluing latex to them before they went on set. They got people with the same attitude Hughes paramours had. Because I assure you Kate Beckinsale doesnt look like Ava Gardner. Im not even sure you could have made her look like Ava - Ms. Gardners face is a lot wider than Ms. Beckinsales.
To play me youre going to have to be able to play a guy who can reseat cards in an IBM Series/1 minicomputer, hem a 50-foot-long banner or drive a ground rod in a rainstorm and at least look like he knows why hes doing it. This brings you down to Galecki, Jim Parsons and Wil Wheaton
and I like Galecki the best of the three. So, get him.
