(5,393 posts)Ive been gradually cleaning my kitchen from top to bottom and last night moved everything off the counters to scrub them and the backsplash area down. Also moved the fridge to clean underneath and, lo and behold, found RBG!

Shes now in a more secure spot so she doesnt disappear again, plus I figured shed appreciate the lace-y surroundings.
Next up: windows, including washing curtains. You can see how gross my windows are even in the tiny bit that shows in the picture and that one is sheltered by a covered deck. The others are horrendous. Windows arent happening today but they are next on the Big Cleaning list.

Or maybe try Books A Million? They have lots of cool figurines.
Edit: Yep, its on Amazon. Searched RBG figurine and Amazon was the first hit.
While searching saw that Funko makes one, too!

(23,175 posts)After we moved back to this house, after all the other stuff, I decided to move into the smallest bedroom, so at least one room wasn't cluttered. It's been complicated since 2014. I thought if my room looked like a room and not a warehouse, I'd be able to focus better. And it has helped. But the room is very small, and I opted to move our queen size bed in there. When I decided to flip the mattress last fall, I had to drag it off my bed, into the guest room and then wangle it onto the guest bed to get it flipped. I put a mark on one of the corners so I didn't do all that work and get it wrong. After I got it in the right position, I dragged it back into my little room and got it back on the bed. Slept good that night

(4,690 posts)In a few days you will be done without the feeling that it's to big of a job for you. My Wife's mothers bedroom had to be emptied and cleaned after she passed and it had stuff everywhere. Took a week but she got it done. It was a huge room with lots of stuff.
Drinking helps, if there are no stairs.
on edit, I have found that sativa helps with tedious tasks.
