Just looked at Michelle Pfeiffer's bio.

As a successful a career as she has had, these are the roles she turned down:

Pretty Woman, which was played by Julia Roberts

Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs, which was played by Jodie Foster

Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct, played by Sharon Stone

Louise in Thelma & Louise, played by Susan Sarandon.

I don't know. Maybe she should fire her agent, though I can't imagine anyone else playing the roles in the above movies, than the ladies who played them.

and Tom Selleck turned down Victor/Victoria at the advice of their agents.

Both agents were fired.

Did you know that Marilyn Monroe was considered for Holly Golightly?

And seeing as how Pfeiffer's career should have ended with Grease 2, I'll cut her a little slack.

but I do remember it was a real downer because it was Goldie, and you just don't associate unhappy endings with a young Goldie Hawn.

However, she was brilliant in Deception.
