Update: 4:45 PM (I believe that I have a mild case of food poisoning this morning.)

Last edited Sun Feb 11, 2024, 05:46 PM - Edit history (1)

It's approximately 4:45pm. The nausea has passed several hours ago along with the headache. Many fluid ounces of water, 2 large scrambled eggs, chopped walnuts and a Niagara made "mozzarella cheese stick" are all staying down. Tummy muscles are sore from all the action this morning though. I apologize if I scared any of my fellow DU-ers and there are some items in certain foods that I absolutely can not consume. Thank you, DU, bless you!

I woke up this morning at 3am with a massive headache while being physically ill.

The being physically ill part has subsided and I'm keeping down water. My headache is still so-so and has lightened up, but still making itself known.

I've made a few responses here and there and this OP.

I'm going to chill out watching Charles Bronson movies for the rest of the day. I will attempt to eat when I feel that I'm ready.

Much Love,
Niagara

Ask someone to bring you over some Pedialyte just in case. Sip on it slowly to keep you hydrated mucifer Feb 2024 #1

Dehydration is a bad thing. Potassium is your pal sometimes. I keep Lite Salt on hand for such times. A dash in a glass of water and a little oj can really help in hot weather and/or in case of food poisoning caused dehydration.

Hope you get better in a hurry. Fluids, and movies sound like just the ticket!

I love watching the old movies and shows too, Pluto is free and has a good amount of the old shows in case you run out of Bronson movies.

Pedialyte or something with electrolytes is something you should have right away. Also, if you have any rice in the kitchen, in a medium saucepan boil a few cups or water with a fistful of rice, boil for five or ten minutes, strain out the rice and sip the broth, that helps immensely. But get some electrolytes, drink only clear fluids, no dairy.
