Whew. Just posted my #256...it only took eight years.

At a mad-dash rate like this, I'll be knocking on that 1,000 milestone soon. Well, 2036 anyway.

lest I get ahead of myself.

I was going to be all geeky and say that #256 and up were representing my second byte at the apple...

But on mature consideration, maybe not.

Just about my first post on DU was a screen capture of the NY Post declaring "It's Gebhardt" in the headline while displaying "Kerry Selects Edwards as VP Nominee" in the scrolling new tape.
