(113,973 posts)I never got into them for whatever reason (probably because my Mom dropped the hammer on sugared cereals pretty early on) but I know they are still made.

(76,706 posts)By odd coincidence, I saw a kid picking out that very brand on Wednesday. His mom told him he could pick out whatever he wanted. Got the feeling this "getting to choose" was a special event. He was really excited.
And he picked out Cocoa Kristin's. Mom, however, didn't look too excited.

(11,837 posts)For some reason, I thought they weren't made by Kellogg's, but Cocoa Krispies obviously would have been.

(10,175 posts)Their advertising jingle was the same as the "Jeopardy!" theme song: "Big, big breakfasts, good, good, snacks, swing to Kellogg's Sugar Smacks." Truthfully, I didn't much like them, being a regular corn flakes fan.

Relatively healthy given it was multi-grain--albeit processed like all cereal.

(34,302 posts)I got away from the super-sweet when I was in my teens and Product 19 was on my list.
My mom bought every cereal imaginable. It's kinda weird...
I can't even remember everything. She would buy all the new stuff. It got old and sweet fast. It all kinda tasted the same to me.

We couldn't get it where we lived, but when we visited my aunt in Tennessee, she always had some.
