It's mid-March! Who has their taxes done?

Forgot all about these pesky things. I have a feeling it will take a full day to get them done. YUCK!!!

And I have no idea whether I owe.

I HATE DOING MY TAXES!

I don't object to paying them. They keep our country running. But doing them - sheer hell.

1. I just filed mine an hour ago

2. Put mine in the hands of my CPA Feb. 27.

3. Our taxes were uploaded to our CPA's software 2/8.

4. I called on March 8th to make an appointment with my regular tax prep guy.

I was informed that my regular tax prep guy unexpectedly died last November. I was shocked upon hearing the news and it felt like my heart sank or possibly skipped a few beats. It was an uncomfortable feeling in my chest that I can't really describe.


I had to schedule with another gentleman that frequently worked with my tax prep guy. At least my taxes are done but I'm still reeling over the fact that he's gone.


I'm also getting things that I need to get done off my list since my grandmother is now in hospice.

5. My wife is a CPA and excellent with taxes - after electronic filing we received our refund in four days.
